African Drumming
Today the children from nursery to Year 2 had a fantastic opportunity to learn about African Culture as part of our Black History Month Celebrations. The sound of African drums is one of the most inspiring, heartfelt and thunderous noises in the world. African instruments and the music they generate play a huge part in African culture . The djembe drum is by far the best known of the African drums and it was amazing to see the children learn native songs and understand how this instrument is made.
